Night's Black Agents

Night's Black Agents by Daniel Humphreys

Paxton Locke book 2. Serious spoilers for book 1 ahead.

Starting with the way Pax and Cassie are having breakfast when a ghost walks into the diner.

It rolls on, with Pax getting asked for help on a case by his old police friends, Division M looking for both him and his mother, a mysterious absence of ghosts, a rehab place, Helen's working with the three remaining girls and doing many evil things, attempts to use the recreated grimoire, and more.

Liked it better than the first.
