outlining the story. zipping back and forth between points of view, weaving together that of the villainesses and the heroines and the supporting characters. . . .

Except that I notice that every scene that has the main heroine tends to be from her point of view. Given the the heroines come together fairly soon, that changes the whole structure.

I shall have to ponder what the others are thinking. How the events are important to them. How they are shaped by them.

I suppose that means I need to define character development.
