We have the teacher who tells her pupils that the test will not be administered because -- her dog ate it. The tot in the playpen surprised as his parents' surprise -- all the latest linguistic theories hold that generating sentences is innate.  And the bugs who see nothing odd in "Metamorphoses", because doesn't everyone wake up one day to learn you've been turned into a bug?
