Read a blog post titled "The Broken Hero" and the muse fools about with the idea of a hero retreating to a refuge. Or perhaps that novel I was working on earlier, where the character a little bit like that title was a bit part to instigate our hero and heroine's involvement with the peril that threatens the land.
Muses really do get ideas the oddest places.
