I think I need a map.

We've got a town, we've got a home out in the wild part of the shore, we've got a lot of vacation homes and things like a chapel and a store for them on the shore.

And I'm not sure our heroine, flitting back and forth, has really kept the geography straight.  All the more so in that flying doesn't mean that distance does not equal time.  Given that she's in crisis mode, that would matter.  Either she would check the closer stuff first, or she would need a reason, such as being faster, to check the farther stuff while others checked the nearer.

It might have helped to have drawn it earlier. . . .
