A Book of Dragons by Ruth Manning-Sanders

A variety of tales from around the world.

The beneficent dragons, unsurprisingly, mostly come from the Far East, with a couple of Greek ones.  But, besides the dragons that demand maidens, there are also ones like ogres, and ones that turn into doves, and one that makes a rather diabolical bargain.

Light tales for children.  Nice illustrations.
