My efforts:

"Why, Miss Smithson, you wound us to the heart." Theatrically, he laid a hand to his chest. "We only wished to suggest that, should you find such a thing, the wisest thing to do would be to put in the hands of those who could research thoroughly. To benefit humanity."

The statuesque queen swept into the room, regal and severe. Her star-white hair coiled in a crown of braids, her robes were stately and royal blue, and she glanced about.
"I would suggest that a more moderate tone be taken by all present. Not to be heard in the dungeons."
