"Perhaps she should be the one to search," said Arabella.
"No," said Belsante firmly. "We keep her at hand to verify the find, if a knight returns with news. If she finds it a glamor and nothing more, then we speak of how we may best search with her charm."

She was deep into potting when Daisy came charging through the lawn shouting, "Hope, Hope, Hope! There's someone here from the corporation!"
Hope realized that her hands were grubby as they could get. "Don't they want to see Mom, or Dad? Tell them they have to come back later, then."
