labyrinth

I just sent my characters off in what is the third labyrinth in as many chapters.

I think I'm going to have to delve into the aspects of that.  Especially since I have a character who will no doubt pontificate on the multiple significance of the labyrinth:  as a place you can't get out of, as a place you can't get into, as a place showing supreme intelligence and artistry (especially when viewed from above so you aren't caught in its coils).

And it's going to be a metaphor suitable to the story.

Not to mention that certain magical properties of the labyrinths are going to be significant -- are going to have to be significant, since I played them up too much while searching for local color.
