This week's prompt is:

My efforts:

Regal purple coat. Eight shining buttons, which were brass because no one would put gold on a messenger's uniform. The neat purple cap. But, she could not remember what messenger service dressed its messengers like that.
After a minute, she climbed off the seat and sneaked down the back steps.

He looked at the table, and sighed. "There's supposed to be eight. We've got so many in and out -- but at least, we have yours."
Jonnet wondered how anyone could mark out anything so distinct as piles there, but Colin did manage to hand them a heap of papers.
