clearing up mysteries

The battle's over, the queen's installed on the throne, no one's arguing --

So they gather around the breakfast table to talk.

I think this needs some paring down -- but not so far that when the actual insights are made. Because running around in loop-de-loops in time and the city was not the best time to piece together clues.
