The Princess Who Had No Fortune

The Princess Who Had No Fortune by Ursula Jones

A light picture book of a princess who lives with her cat and her father -- no servants -- in a castle.

It involves declining an invitation, her father's building a flying machine, a problem baking cupcakes, and some other twists. The artwork is delightful -- a mix of silhouettes (with color accents) and full color.
